Twitter Roundup: I Wasn't Alone in My Outrage!

There were two types of people who agreed with me: Pitt fans and non-Pitt fans.

Twitter Roundup: I Wasn't Alone in My Outrage!

This is Day 3 of 22 for the Bandwagoner’s Guide to Pitt Volleyball, as I take you all the way through the NCAA tournament.

My name is James Santelli, and after putting a lot of time into the first two days of newsletters, I’m phoning in this one. You’ll get more in-depth tournament analysis later this week.

You get what you don’t pay for!

THANKS, ALL YINZ! KEEP IN TOUCH!

I poured all the vitriol I could muster into yesterday’s Selection Show Recap/Airing Of Grievances.

So, a hearty THANK YOU to all of you who read, liked and shared it.

I’m looking to do more analysis in the days ahead, including a mailbag/FAQ to help my fellow bandwagoners before Pitt’s NCAA opener Friday night against Howard.

If you have questions you would like answered in the mailbag, email me at jrsantelli@gmail.com or tweet me.

There are no stupid questions, just stupid committee decisions.

NOW, ON TO THE FILLER!

One of the only silver linings from Selection Sunday was the united front of Pitt fans squawking back at the NCAA.

I wrote around 900 words covering the ridiculousness of Pitt’s low seed, but some people had better internal editors.

Brevity is… wit.

I even saw a couple of non-Pitt fans going to bat for us.

And then there were the GIFs.

And you can never go wrong with the Meme Of The Moment.

SHOUT-OUT TO THE STARS

Pitt head coach Dan Fisher is fond of saying he has a complete team, building the Panthers without any top-50 high school recruits.

But there are always standout players, and on Monday they were honored with all-ACC designations, including a well-deserved Player of the Year award for junior Kayla Lund. It’s the first time a Pitt player has won the honor.

Sabrina Starks, 2nd in the ACC in blocks per set and 4th in conference play in hitting percentage? You were robbed.

Catch you tomorrow. Remember, if you’ve got questions, email me at jrsantelli@gmail.com or tweet me.
